Remember Haiti

Today is the one year anniversary of the earthquake that shook and shocked Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

Canada has considered Haiti to be an important humanitarian project, and yet there is still a long way to go before the Haitian people can comfortably put the tragedy behind them.

Take a minute to remember the disaster, and to recognize how lucky we are that few of us have ever been personally affected by such natural disasters.

An interesting blog that follows life in Port-au-Prince can be found at:

  1. Kirsten, thank you! I appreciate the shout out, but more importantly, I appreciate that you reach out to Haiti in this way. Thanks for caring. Thanks for sharing. Again, I thank you–but, I’m sure, Haiti thanks you, as well!
    Blessings to you from Port-au-Prince,
